Together, We Are Growing Change
Following community consultation, community enterprise workshops, and extensive local needs analyses, together with local people we have created an ambitious proposal for an innovative community owned Rural Family Centre in Worcestershire. Through a Community Benefit Society, the Rural Family Centre and the estate on which it lies will be held by the community in perpetuity.
We have four established local organisations that will be our tenants, serving local families: Nurture Families, Nurture Outdoor Kindergarten, Nurture at Home, and Growing Change.
Together, we are creating a place that cultivates hope, invests in families, and brings pride to a community. This place will celebrate family, encourage positive relationships and connections, and provide a vibrant space that will not only be a unique resource for the community but will also leave a lasting legacy and improve the quality of life for all our families.

2. We will create jobs for local people, providing rural employment and a unique place to work that is rooted in community.
3. Our model will prioritise place, relationships and history - nothing more complex than people in a place through time.
4. Our tenants for the Rural Family Centre are Nurture Families, Nurture Outdoor Kindergarten, Nurture at Home and Growing Change. They have been working with local families and advocating for children for more a decade.
5. We will support local small businesses, charities and social enterprises by providing unique office spaces to rent.
6. We will reduce identified ‘gaps’ in support locally, creating an ecosystem of support for families that draws on local skills, knowledge and expertise.
7. We will create a single site with multiple services that directly feed back into the common goal of advancement of future generations.
