Design

1. This is a landscape led project. Protecting the surrounding countryside, ensuring that it remains as green and natural as possible, we want our customers to enjoy the outdoors and to learn from it. We are passionate about improving biodiversity and planting local species.

2. Sustainability is at the heart of the site and design. From carefully thought out water management systems and biodiversity, to renewable energy measures, our objective is to make this the best place it can be – for the environment, for our community, for our employees.

3. We have retained the model of a farmstead and working plant nursery, each building a unique design in itself. Any additional buildings complement it, agricultural in style but contemporary and crafted out of subtle materials. We are delighted to be working with a local architect on this project.

A farm to family restaurant and event space like no other. It houses our farm kitchen in a light and airy glass fronted building. Customers will enter through a beautiful kitchen garden in our glass houses. This unique space will also host small-scale local events.

The centre will include therapy spaces, relaxation spaces, and consultation spaces for family health and wellness practitioners to work with their clients. Each professional will be an outstanding entrepreneur, championing their community, whilst growing their business.

These professionals, inculding for example psychotherapists, massage therapists, and speech and language therapists, will be supported through a membership programme to grow their business.

Outdoor spaces that truly matter. Our ‘landscape first’ approach is reflected in the design. The site’s origins as a farm matter, and we celebrate that. Outside spaces that belonged to the old growing tunnels are being restored and reinvented, placing a kitchen garden at the heart of the family centre.

Following the impact of Covid-19, and championing our farming roots, we have created a range of outdoor spaces. This includes covered spaces and seating with connection to the farm to family kitchen space
